How many sessions will be essential for reaching the goal of the therapy?

Effectiveness of the therapy doesn’t only depend on the number of sessions, but also on your commitment to practice learnt CBT or/and Hypnotherapy techniques between the sessions. They need to be practiced on regular basis to make desired difference. That said, most of my clients begin to notice changes towards their ultimate therapy goal within 4 to 8 sessions, but this largely depends on the severity of their problems. 

Availability&Fees

Jana is available 7 days a week between 10am and 10pm. 

All sessions take approximately 50 minutes. 

Cancellation Fee

The usual 24 hours cancellation policy applies to all  appointments, therefore you are liable for the full cost of the session in case of a missed appointment. However, personal tragedy is the only exception when this policy won’t be applied.  

Jana accepts payments in cash; or by cheque, PayPal and on-line payment. All online payments have to be made prior to an appointment. 

Effectiveness of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Various empirical studies have shown that Cognitive Behaviour Therapy  is effective and  helps around 70 per cent of people. According to a 2004 review by INSERM of three methods, cognitive behavioural therapy was either “proven” or “presumed” to be an effective therapy on several specific mental disorders. According to the study, CBT was effective at treating schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress, anxiety disorders, bulimia, anorexia, personality disorders and alcohol dependency (INSERM Collective Expertise Centre (2000). “Psychotherapy: Three approaches evaluated) .
